Minutes of the 20 December 2001 meeting were approved as read.
Election of Officers: The following were nominated and voted to office by a majority of the majority of members (board of directors) present -
President – John Vraa
Vice President – Ken Delaney
Secretary – Andy Gerla
Treasurer – Todd Evenson
Non-Profit Status: We are still waiting for non-profit status from the US IRS. Bylaws must be submitted promptly or the certification process will need to be restarted. The officers will develop a set of draft bylaws and propose that these be approved by the members of SHSHS at a special meeting next week.
Ken Delaney related to the SHSHS the importance of obtaining permission from landowners before making site visits.
