Chairman Vraa called the meeting to order. Minutes of the 16 September were read and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: No changes since last month. Motion and second to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented were passed unanimously.

Old Business:
1. Windmill will be moved by Mark S. within the next couple of weeks. Those present discussed where it should be stored. Probably should not be stored on the ground at the site because of its poor appearance.

New Business:

1. About 1-3 weeks of work remain in the fields. Following field work, the Society hopes to continue the work at the site. A large crew can work on the barn while a small crew can work on the cabin. We need to haul logs from Keith’s place west of the river.

2. Discussed the Estenson milkhouse in Crookston.

3. Todd indicated that the Arts grant was funded.

4. Brief discussion on the Hong log house.

Meeting adjourned at 8:oo pm. Next meeting will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, 20 November 2003.
