Vraa called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the 20 March were read and approved.
Treasurer’s report: Income…..membership --- $10.. interest --- 0.03 A-savings, 4.56 D-savings. No expenses.
Balances…..
A-savings $10.55, D-savings $1259.25, checking 34.47, CD $15,000
Motion and second to approve Treasurer’s report as presented was passed
unanimously.
Old Business:
1. Need to address neighbor’s
perceived concerns regarding slow progress at the site. John will ask Todd if
he would seed the plot with barley.
2. The nature of the plaque at the site was discussed.
3. A copy of the proposed lease was distributed. John suggested that it should not contain any time stipulation for completing work at the homestead site.
4. Monica Seims had not responded in regard to the next steps for the community assistant program.
5. Need logs by mid-June so they can be cut in Crookston. Phil will check on the condition of two oak logs at his place. Logs need to be sound and at least 14-15 feet in length.
Meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM. Next meeting will be held at 8 PM on Thursday, May 15.
