Half-time graduate teaching assistants receive a stipend for the academic year and may receive a waiver of tuition. The base stipend for
the
2010 fiscal year is $12,393.70 for MS students and $14,979.40 for PhD students. Graduate research assistants may also receive a
waiver
of
tuition; the stipend is variable, but typically approximates the teaching assistantship stipend.
