We are trying to gather information about the current occupations of our alumni. Please take a moment to fill out and submit this
on-line occupation updater. Since geology was first offered by the University of North Dakota in 1883, the department has awarded thousands of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Our alumni live all over the world. The map below shows where our alumni with U.S. addresses are living today. We try to keep in touch with our alumni. Each fall, the department publishes the Geology and Geological Engineering Alumni News, which is mailed to almost 1,000 alumni and friends of the department. The newsletter contains features about our alumni (including current addresses), accounts of departmental field trips, departmental happenings (including award of the Leonard Medal), and updates from the faculty. In spite of our efforts, we sometimes lose track of alumni. If you are a graduate of UND GGE who has been out of touch lately, please take a moment to tell us your whereabouts with our on-line address update. We will add you to our Alumni News mailing list, allowing us and your classmates to get in touch with you again.
